Global citizenship has profound roots not only in history, but in human nature; Over the ages, humanity has sought to inspire its principles and values for a better life and peace.

In the last two decades, the idea of teaching and learning on global citizenship has developed within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and as one of UNESCO's priorities for promoting a culture of peace.

This module deals with a brief presentation of the pillars and mechanisms of teaching and learning on global citizenship and their objectives.
