Global citizenship is an integral part of the United Nations sustainable development goals. The education and learning of global citizenship can be seen as the glue that ensures that the Goals are sustained and permeated in different societies and groups, through which common language and concepts are formed across cultures and peoples. Education and learning in global citizenship therefore take on many models and methodologies so that it extends to different groups of learners.
